Everybody Street film

During class we watched the film Everybody Street which interviews multiple different photographers about the photos they choose to take in New York city. During the film we listen to street photographers that all have different ideas of what street photography such as candid, posed, or very abrupt in the face type shots, we see them go all over NY taking photos of many different people, animals, and emotions. Through all the different styles we see in the film each and every photographer explains why they do street photography and what their motivations were, they all seem to come to the same conclusion by saying that they love it and that there needs to be people like them taking those kinds of street photos. What I learned and took away from the film is that you just need to take the first step to take the photos you enjoy taking and that is what I need to work on as a young photographer.
