Homework for class this week was the alphabet challenge, which is finding letters that are not man made or written down. This project was very fun, going around and looking for the letters made you think critically about objects and makes you see things you would easily overlook in your everyday life. These photos were taken at various places on the Cal State San Marcos campus at night as well as Grand Ave in Escondido during the day which gives the alphabet a nice contrast in colors I believe. The difficulties for this assignment were finding the more abstract looking letters which proved to be very hard to find. This lesson overall taught me a lesson about thinking outside the box while taking photos which will help me see things that I may have overlooked if I had not done this assignment. I would recommend this assignment to and new photographer who is struggling with creativity.
